The First Lady of Poland Agata Kornhauser – Duda, visited Caritas Georgia
On behalf of the President of Caritas Georgia, Bishop Giuseppe Pasotto, who is at present outside of the country, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you and express our delight for your visit to Caritas Georgia.
Poland and the Catholic Church of Poland have much to do with the good that Caritas Georgia is able to do here under the able direction of its Director Mrs. Anahit Mkhoyan.
Your visit today brings to light the presence of extraordinary Polish nationals in this land. They have been a contributing factor in forming and enriching the religious heritage and historical cultural wealth in Georgia. Amongst them, numerous priests and religious have generously offered their lives in order to sustain and advance freedoms, human dignity and development in Georgia. Towering Polish figures of all walks of life, cultural and academic credentials have treaded this land and aspired to the high values embedded in their faith and hearts.
Excellency, may I dare say that among Poland’s best ambassadors in Georgia are also the arms and hearts of your dedicated polish religious in this land who with the support of their homeland have been able to do great things here?
Caritas Georgia is also in many ways a legacy that connects Poland and Georgia in a spirit of “Catholicity”. Madam First Lady, we would like to assure you that cooperation between Poland and Caritas will continue to honour Poland, producing
