This Catholic institution for higher learning gets its name from a renowned Catholic Georgian scholar, diplomat, author; and national figure who among other things fostered and symbolized the connection of Georgia to the European continent.
Sabauni was founded in Tbilisi by Bishop Giuseppe Pasotto, Administrator of the Apostolic Administration for Latin Catholics of the Caucasus in 2001. Its mission is to provide a favorable academic learning environment based on principles of human dignity and freedom to better serve society. Through its activities, the university helps to bring traditions, cultures and generations closer together.
Sabauni provides the following academic programs in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences: theology, psychology, sociology, international relations, business administration, tourism, law, political sciences and public governance. The institution’s accredited programs are recognized both nationally and internationally.
